THE MATRIARCHY IS SOCIALIST,
not capitalist
Here at Matriarchal Mindset, we are serious about supporting the collective over profit.
Mutual aid, matriarchal values, and socialism are connected through their shared focus on collective care, equity, and the well-being of the community over individual profit or dominance. In many matriarchal traditions, leadership centers on nurturing, cooperation, and the fair distribution of resources—principles that closely align with both mutual aid practices and socialist ideals. Mutual aid networks reflect this by encouraging communities to directly support one another through shared food, childcare, knowledge, and emotional support.
Socialism similarly emphasizes that resources and systems should serve everyone, not just a powerful few. Together, these frameworks challenge hierarchical, patriarchal structures by promoting collaboration, compassion, and shared responsibility. They demonstrate that societies thrive when care work is valued and when people are empowered to support one another rather than compete.
This “wo” manifests itself in our community as members paying for the monthly dues of others who may be facing financial hardship.
By embracing these interconnected ideas, communities can build more just, resilient, and humane systems rooted in empathy, cooperation, and collective strength. 🤝✨
